Insomniac Build-Off Competition: Round 1

Yep, you heard it all, now it is time for the real thing.

For the next 2 weeks, you all will be working on a build that will go for the theme of Round 1, which is Ancient Rome! You will be building anything that goes to Ancient Rome, whether it is a building from Ancient Rome or an Roman Soldier. Do make your builds good, as your builds will have to satisfy the judges.

Once you have finished building your build, review them to make sure you have made it right, and then upload them to either ImageShack, Imgur or use the Attachment Settings on the forums and post them here, with a little info about your build!

Where to Build?
Thank you bren4q, there is a map created called buildoff1. That is to go for round 1 Build-Offs! There is spaces there, to go for each person, so only use One space in that map. Auto-disqualifications will be implaced if taking up all the room on the map. And when finish your build, put your full "Minecraft Username" under the build.

Now, some of you may not make it to Round 2, but we do thank you for participating! It was a pleasure seeing you enjoying yourself on the servers joining in a group competition!

Now, please do obey the rules, which can be found on this thread here!

Remember, if you win the whole competition, you will receive a code for a Minecraft Retail Account!

Well, I just gotta wait til Saturday til I get a new computer and then come onto the servers to see. They have looked good from the start anyways.

Hey guys,

First of all i wanna say thanks to Noku for hosting this competition.
We all have sweat those 2 weeks and alot of people were like 24/7 online.
I was really sick this week so i havent had enough time but im posting this earlier cuz i now i dont have enough time on the rest of the week.

I made an "big" roman camp. I think it took me like 5 or more hours to make the city. Alot of things went wrong and tons of guests were online. -.-
I have some picture and explain underneath it.

First of all:

The aqueduct: well dont ask me how i made it cuz it hard to explain it took a long time to make it. This aqueduct give the city alot of water.

Part of the City: This is the side of the city thats next to the sea. Here arrives many ships that come from anywhere of the world. U can see a big Water thing thats were the water from the aqueduct comes.

Onther side City: Nothing much to tell about it. Its just the onther side of the Romans Camp:D.

Whole Camp: Here u can see that it isnt a very rich city. Well a good view of the whole Camp.

Broken: The aqueduct is broken and the water spread all over the land

Tunnel: Here is the aqueduct's tunnel.

For this build I used many images from different angles of the original monument
it is missing a lot of sculptures that are carved on the panels and walls, i would have built them but due to size limitations it would look awful

Since i finished it in around 2 or 3 days of work (around 6 hours total) I wanted to have some fun with it, so I built an "twisted" version of it, giving a vulcanic / demonic look. The Arch itself doesn't have any "divine" relation to have hell as opposite, I just used my poetic license haha
