INSOMNIAC BUILD-OFF COMPETITION!

Hey everyone

I have decided to created this competition out of my own will, just for a little entertainment for everyone. So, this is the build-off competition. Aim of this is there will be 3 rounds, where you all will be building separate things, whether it is a theme of something or a house hold item. And at the end of each round there will be eliminations for the worse build. At the bottom of this thread, there will be the thing that you will have to build. But first, you must obey the rules! And since this is going to be a competition, there will be an even harder challenge.

JUDGES:
Only OP's+ can be judges! There will be only 4 judges maximum, so please don't worry! If you do decide to be a judge, you will not be involved in the competition except only to judge the builds at the end of each round!
JUDGES SO FAR:
EvokerJake3
bren4q
Ejay845

RULES:
1. This will be held on the classic servers, and will have a certain amount of time between each round (Giving everybody a chance to build what they have to build.) Anyone with unfinished builds will be disqualified!

2. Cuboid will only have a certain limit of 1000 blocks at a time! As well as a certain rank for all competitors. (Only applies for Round 2 and 3!)

3. Only EpicBuilders+ can enter this competition! This is due to some users probuilders and below don't know much about the server just yet.

4. No cheating! This includes coping other people's ideas. Everything in this competition must be original!

5. Do not build in the guest maps! This saves argument in with the guest and others building out of this competition!

NEWS:
This competition will start on March 5, 2012 at 7:00am AEDT! That way it can give me a couple of days for me to get some ideas of what to get you all to build in this competition! And the overall winner shall receive a code for a premium Minecraft account! I will be the one having the code, and I will not give it to anyone, unless you win the competition!

For known which time it is here in Australia, you can view all you need here at Time And Date.com

Good luck!

Round 1 Build-Off:
This part is trying to enter the competition! To enter the competition for round 2, you must build whatever I put below! If you get passed off to round 2, then you will be in the competition to go for the grand prize at the end of round 3!

Round 2 Build-Off:
Round 2 Time! This is going to be a little more harder and a little more advance! Just the same rules. You build what ever I post below this build, and then you will go in for round 3!

Round 3 Build-Off:
THIS IS GOING TO BE GOOD! If you have made it this far, congratulations, you are sucessful! You are now building for the code of a Minecraft Premium Account, paid for by me! You will be required to build what ever I post below, and the winner will be announced at the end of this thread! Just a bigger ball game to me!

Great idea Noku. I'm sure we can make a map especially for the build-off rounds. Perhaps 1 large map for each round?

> you will not be allowed to use cuboid in this competition
Ouch! Back to the old skool. I hope this restriction doesn't put people off.

Since you are having 3 rounds, you could have each round based on a theme, e.g. round 1 - an ancient building, round 2 - something you might find in a house, etc.

We'll make maps for them soon.
Practice is good but I'd like to say it is not everything. Some people hit a 'plateau' and they practice for hours and hours but they just don't seem to get any better. It is mental. Escape the fate. There is no destiny because you can make your own. Talent does not exist, or if it does I do not have it. There is no such thing as gifted. If someone can do it, if it's possible, I can do it. You and I can become infinitely better. Maybe natural talent does exist, but it really doesn't matter because i'll overcome it. Fuck talent, fuck biology, and fuck a diceroll. I want to be the best and I'll rise no matter what. It's this psycho attitude which makes me 'so good'. -Wonderland (tf2 pro soldier/rocket jumper)
That is the plan! Round 3 is going to be a really hard round though, so I am going to try and get around to making each round a little more harder!

Oh yeah, and I have modified the opening post a little, so yeah!

What about creating a rank for the competition?
Like "Contestant"
the rank will have a certain limitation for cuboids, like 2000 blocks?
Commands on the rank: cuboid, line, water, lava, adminium, replace, copy, paste?

or do it completely old school? jesus im so used to commands D:
we should also set limits on size of builds
Work it harder, make it better, do it faster, makes us stronger.

A new rank can be added, yes. We'll see what Noku thinks first before doing anything.

I like the idea of that, but the only thing is, round one is gathering contestants first, seeing who will make it through to make it to round 2, then that will be the time a SuperOP can add the rank of Contestant, and add the player to that rank to see who will be involved! But the only think is, in the rounds, there will be no cuboid allow from Round 2 and Round 3!

I still gotta think of the runner up prizes and stuff :L Or a prize for those who entered the competition?

But I have got an idea for the first and opening round! Which cubiod will be allowed! The competition won't start until tomorrow my time!

Ejay845

Great! When does it start? Wait nevermind, elite builders would probably crush me lol

Ejay845

Well I guess I could always try ;) I do need the account lol

Since rounds 2 & 3 are without cuboid, could /paint be added to the list of usable commands?

I say in round 2 and 3 we make all the contestents builder rank xD that will make it a true amazing build.
