I need everyones opinion!

First off, I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!

Anyway, I got a $150 gift card to GameStop.. if you don't know what that is they sell like every video game imaginable new or old.

I'm not really the kinda guy that stays on top of all the new releases, so I you guys's help choosing stuff to buy.. I have a xbox 360 and a DS. I don't have a good enough PC to handle a lot of new games.

Just get the darned Skyrim already. Man, I fell in love with that game about a month ago and played it non-stop ever since.

Assassin's Creed is also a good choice. My brother bought Revelations and I must admit it looks pretty awesome.

the thing is do you have to play all the other elderscroll games to be able to understand skyrim? ive never played a elderscroll game

no you don't but oblivion helps understand the occassional quest. but overall they don't really need each other.

First of all, you should have gotten a gift card to Steam, you'll get games a fortune of a lot chaper there than from gamestop;
I highly highly highly recomend getting the source engine complete pack;
Best game engine i've ever had the pleasure of useing, and some of the best games I've ever seen.

I had a lot of fun playing tomb raider anaversary
TES 5 (if you can run it, i have to turn teh sky and the grass off to get decent performance)

I liked MW3 a lot, but I get bored of Call of Duty games easily because it is the same thing over and over again. You should try BattleField 3 it is more realistic, and it have helicopters and jets in it. Just my opinion $120 will get you about 2-3 new games depending on how new they are. For DS I really like Pokemon games for like the gameboys which they don't sell the games anymore.. but I don't know for DS sorry
