Hey guys, for a while I've been trying to find the best way to advertise the servers, and after searching for a while, I found this as the best option. http://minestatus.net/

It's essentially a format to advertise servers, where people can rate servers, i.e, everyone on this site could rate our server up once a day, everyday, if we add it to the server list. One of my friends used to host his own server, and used this site to increase his traffic. Now, I'm not to sure of the situation in beta, but because of a combination of factors, the classic server has little to no new guests. As an op who used to have stuff to do all the time, it seems relatively boring now, and I think we could all use some new guests to keep things fun.

If you guys agree with me that this would be a good idea, Then would one of the server moderators would need to add the server to the site. I would do it, but I don't know the port number, or the actual location of the server, and there is a software that they use to track the traffic of the server, and I'm pretty sure we would need the server host to download the software and that same software gives in game rewards for voting, and we would need to pick a logo as well.

At one time or another both of the Old PK beta servers were listed on that sight.  We as a user body have used it before.  I remember Dwerg was bribing people to go vote on sights like this to get it pushed up in the listings.

Ah, yes dwerg was, but it was a nice way to make 2000 in game dollars!
