Permission to Advertise Server

I was just browsing through Youtube when I thought that maybe we should advertise our server and post it on Youtube. I'm not really good at camera stuff but I could ask some of my friends to help me with it. It might take a while to film though because I have to add effects and stuff.

Ohoho I already advertised it just a little on youtube, but it sounds like a great Idea for someone else to advertise it even more! Since I can't go on the servers I can't, but someone else with a good knowledge of the servers and acess to the servers and youtube, can.

If you are going to advertise get photos of like the person flying over some classic maps, then the survival map, then the creative map. Then when you switch between the game type (classic, creative, survival) maybe have a effect.

I could see somebody being against advertising other servers on here, but I don't think anyone minds others advertising our servers.

I have an MWC YouTube channel for the films made through MWC on these servers, and also, I can work on some filming as well.


Also, it's nice to see your still here red, haven't seen ya around in a longtime!

I'm all for more server traffic, Advertise to your hearts content, skittlz is right though, its a bit of taboo to advetise other servers on our servers, thats not why people come to a specific server, if they were browsing they can go to any number of public forums for findign a server;

Oh and does anybody know if We have official posts on the minecraft forum abotu our servers?

Noku advertised the beta servers on Planet Minecarft and it was really effective - about 10 players had joined the Creative server within 5 minutes. But I asked him to remove it because people were joining and not able to build, and they didn't know that they had to join the forum in order to ask for building rights.

Advertising the Classic is a simpler matter because Classic servers rely on random people joining in.

So yeah, if you want to advertise the Classic servers, go for it - the more the merrier.
As for advertising the beta servers, we probably need to figure out the best way to do it first. If we are expecting more traffic for Beta then we need to make sure people can join the forum and request builder rights as easily as possible.

It would be a stupid idea if we don't advertise are server on different areas. lately its been rather dull becaue there ain't many guests on.

Ok. I will try. Might take a while like I said. BTW either there is something wrong with Minecraft or my internet which has been buggy and acting like a total baby and causing me to disconnect and reconnect every few minutes which is causing me to be unable to log in... Example: My WOM isn't connecting to the servers list and now I loaded Minecraft.net and now its already been 10 minutes and it hasn't even shown up the server list -.- The other websites are fine so...Yeah...
